A 90-Day Experiment: Learning AI to Write, Build, and Earn

1. The “Noise” of the AI Storm

Is AI everywhere you look right now?

You open Facebook, and ChatGPT is writing poetry, Midjourney is creating dreamlike imagery. The news headlines are all about how AI will replace humans.

Be honest, what was your first reaction? Was it a mix of curiosity and a feeling of being overwhelmed, even “suffocated”?

You click on tutorials, only to close them immediately because… they are full of technical jargon. It’s all about “APIs,” “Python,” and complex “Prompt Engineering.” And you think: “This is for tech guys, not for me.”

If you are thinking that, calm down. I am here to tell you the opposite.

2. A Coder’s Confession: Code Couldn’t Save Me from the “Blank Page”

I am Nguơn. I am a Programmer (Coder).

Hearing that, you might think building this website was as easy as pie for me. Yes, technically, I can set up a website, configure a server, and fix system bugs overnight. That’s the world of 1+1=2 logic that I have mastered.

But I have a “fatal” weakness: I am “illiterate” at writing.

The logical mindset of a tech guy makes my writing style as dry as dust. Every time I tried to write a blog post or a Facebook status, I would stare at the blinking cursor for an hour, unable to type a single word.

A person with a laptop and a notebook, looking stressed — Even coders get writer’s block. The struggle is real.

I have wanted to do Affiliate Marketing for a long time to earn extra income, but I always gave up. Because Affiliate Marketing requires writing content, and for me, writing content is harder than writing code.

But then, AI appeared. For me, AI is not the “terminator” of programming jobs. It is the “savior” of my writing skills. It is the bridge that helps a dry tech guy tell stories and touch the readers’ emotions.

3. A Fatal Misunderstanding: Learning AI ≠ Learning to Code

Many people mistakenly believe: “To be good at using AI, you must know how to code.” Wrong!

Imagine using AI is like driving a car.

Learning to Code: Is like learning how to build an engine, assemble the chassis (An engineer’s job).
Learning AI (for normal people): Is like learning how to hold the steering wheel, press the gas, and hit the brakes (A driver’s job).

To drive a car on a road trip, you don’t need to know how the engine works. You just need to know how to drive. Similarly, to use AI to blog, you don’t need to know how to code. You just need to know how to issue commands (Prompt).

If I (a Coder) am using AI to compensate for my lack of writing skills, then you (a non-coder) can absolutely use AI to compensate for your lack of technical skills.

Driving a car on a road trip — You don’t need to be a mechanic to drive a car. You don’t need to be a coder to use AI.

4. The Naked Truth: Why Am I Making This Blog?

I am a practical person. I didn’t create NguonChe.com just to write a diary for fun. My goal is very clear: To Build Passive Income.

And the path I chose is Affiliate Marketing. This is the most sustainable business model: You don’t need to import goods, don’t worry about inventory, just recommend good products and earn commissions.

But to succeed in Affiliate Marketing, “Content is King.” You need hundreds of review articles, tutorials, and comparisons.

Before: I gave up because I couldn’t write. Hiring writers was too expensive.
Now: AI is the “diligent employee” that helps me produce consistent, high-quality content with almost zero cost.

5. The 90-Day Plan: A Public “Laboratory.”

I decided to set a “90-Day Build-a-Blog with AI Challenge.” I will turn this website into a public laboratory (Build in Public).

Here, I follow the “Slow Learning” philosophy:

No chasing garbage trends.
No promises of getting rich quick.
I learn as I go, do as I learn, and share it with you immediately.

I will be transparent about everything: From how I choose Hosting, how I ask ChatGPT for article ideas, to the times I fail. And of course, I will include Affiliate links, but I commit to only recommending tools I truly believe in (with the strict standards of a Coder).

Data analysis and growth chart — The goal is measurable growth and building sustainable passive income over time.

Someone who wants to earn extra income online but is afraid of writing (like me).
